Scholastic celebrated its 100-year anniversary during the year 2020 and so they asked 100 authors to each give a reason for reading. From the replies, Scholastic compiled a book of the 100 reasons for reading. 

These 100 reasons were used throughout this annual report to add a creative and personal element to the report and to introduce each section.
